This is a good start to a blog and an interesting question. I think I always prefer the book or at least to read the book before I see the movie so that I can make up what it looks like in my head. That said, I loved the Harry Potter movies almost as much as the book.

I agree. No matter how amazing special effects can be in the movies, they still can't compare to what I can cook up in my imagination!
I like to know the book before the movie because I like to see if the story is right for me.
What books do you think would actually make good movies? Who would star in them?
